My items are on Amazon. It's been almost a week and I've learned a lot. Pictures can't have words or logos written like this:

Amazon wasn't using the image above but didn't tell me why. It wasn't until I made that picture the only available, did Amazon tell me what was wrong.
I decided that customers don't need to know "Country Series" or "American Series". It's wasted space. So I improved the image.
All of the charms are now on the same image and I added my hand, based on what similar merchants did.
Next I learned about having a store. To have a storefront in Amazon, you need a Brand. To have an official Brand, you need to Trademark a company. Trademarking my logo is time consuming but I believe worth while. I'll let you know how that goes.
Amazon Affiliate Time
Seriously, this is the easiest way to support my business. Click the link and anything you buy
- within 24 hours -
gets attributed to me and I get a small %
If 24 hours passed just click it again.
You don't have to purchase what is showcased, you can get anything!
Every product I feature I have personally
purchased and approve.
Third thing I learned, Amazon Prime.
My brother-in-law only shops Prime. Literally clicks "only prime products' and doesn't see anything else. So I looked into it.
Amazon Prime can be offered 2 ways.
I can have Amazon ship it with "Amazon Fulfillment" (AF). I send my products to a warehouse and pay a storage fee.
I can do self fulfillment (SF) and ship the orders myself. 2 day shipping must be offered for free to the customer.
If I do AF I don't control the packaging. I guess that's fine, as long as they include my thankyou note. It cost money to store my products, and they could be lost in the process.
If I do SF I have to pay the two day shipping myself. Shipping can cost $8 or more! I would be at a loss.
The solution? I increase my price to cover shipping cost. That means, everyone has to pay the more expensive price to cover cost of the Prime shoppers.
What do I do? I don't want to raise my prices, that isn't fair for customers who just want to wait a week to get my products. I also don't want to miss out on most of the customers at Amazon. The entire reason I'm on there is the customer base.
In other news, I printed my vinal pads for my k-cup holder. To be honest, they just don't pop like I want. I really don't think it fits with the brand. I have another plan that should get the heads turning!
The K-cup holders are coming along. I always feel I don't have enough time. Here I am today working on two more holders.

I seriously need help deciding what I'm going to do about the Amazon Prime price increase. Let me know what you think!
