Healing and Moving on

Hello Hen House readers!


Last post I stated that I "Hit a groove", boy oh boy did that come to a jarring stop.


I won't talk much about Charlie Kirk because I see everyone putting their two cents in and getting a ton of likes/shares/follows. Bleck! I didn't use what happened to 'join follow trees' and I'm not about to start now.


It hit me hard, I took time to recover, I'm back now. I don't agree with everything he said but I will say, please watch his full answers, many quotes are taken out of context.


The Healing


After one week we got an invite to attend a birthday party for a one year old beautiful girl. It was on the rich side of the family who own some land and horses.


(btw, I've never asked for a hand out from them and I never will, I'll earn my own)


Anyway, here are the pictures from that wonderful day...



Those horses would come right up to me. They even had a miniature horse. All the kids got to ride both types of horses. This is the healing me and my husband both needed.

Back To Work


With an event right around the corner I had to act fast. I finished all the tags for my fire starters. Then I got to work on the birch tree candle holders.

It was finally time for my event. Thee most exciting things happened! I hit two new milestones...


  • For the first time, I had so much product, I needed two tables.

  • Also for the first time, I sold over $100! Not a lot for most of you but it's lot to me.



Everything you see was made by me, even the stands. All except the jewelry. I partnered with a local small business to give you the best jewelry in a rustic country style.


Thank you to Christ Church United in Lowell MA for a wonderful event! I'll be partnering with them again. This time I'll be inside the church. Date is to be determined, I hope to see you there!
