Hello Hen House!

Last post I vented about a bad day. We all have them. The important thing is, it didn't stop me. I did meet with my mentor and he gave me great advice. Use .pdf instead of .png images.

That one change solved multiple issues. All my files come in the same size and maintain detail.

While waiting to meet with him, I wanted to keep myself busy. So I had a talk with my 12 year old daughter, Kairi. I encouraged her to use her imagination and create some AI generated stickers she could sell.

I checked each image with googles image search to make sure the AI didn't steal them. Yes that can happen!

Here are some of her creations:

They are just as random as any kids imagination should be. Any stickers she sells will be her money. I won't take a dime. In fact I'm hoping this will teach her that even a middle school kid can make money.

I'm still in a rental car. Every time we find a car we like, we call and it's sold. I'm feeling a bit desperate since Easter is Sunday and it would be really hard to cram 4 kids into a Malibu.

We did get all our stuff out of our Honda. Here is the last pictures I got of it.

I seem to be comfortable writing two blog post and one news letter a week. It feels right.

One last thing I did while waiting to meet my mentor was design and print a sticker display.

I researched what I wanted and re-created my own version. I'm pretty proud of this one because I went from idea, to design, to print on one day!

The text didn't show up very well so I painted in the groves. Since the text is laser engraved there is an indent the paint easily sunk into. All I had to do was wipe the excess off and it was perfect!

I still need to fix the middle slat to be shorter, so it doesn't cover up the text. I also need to print 3 more middle slats. And I shouldn't spend too much time on it because my table is only a week away!

Thanks so much for following along! Until next time!
