Before starting, friendly reminder that I signed up for a booth on the 26th. At SUTRA Studio in downtown Lowell MA. 10:00 - 3:00

Have you ever had one of those days?

I'm have one of those days...

With my sales table date looming I'm feeling the pressure. Lots on my mind. I guess too much because I got into a car crash. Not a crazy big one but I got hit hard enough that my side airbags went off.

Anyone who has been through such a thing will tell you, it's totaled. Not because of the damage to the car, and not because of the airbags themselves, but because of the sensors.

A single sensor can cost over a thousand dollars and I may need a bunch of sensors replaced.

So me and my husband are dealing with insurance, and tow yards, and rental cars.`

I will say, that while at the tow yard our insurance called us and asked us to do a bunch of stuff. "You only have 3 days to get your paper work" "get the plates off the car".

The tow yard owner jumped right in and told the insurance a thing or two. "Listen you're asking him to take his plates off. No body is allowed to use tools in my tow yard... He need the estimate first before anything... you know the law, you have to pay for every day his car is here so you should get the estimate sooner than later"

It was a truly great interaction to witness. It was also great to have someone in our corner who knew the way around and what to say.

All that tow yard stuff went on yesterday. Today,

Today, all my kids missed their respective busses. The replacement car we wanted is sold, and the other one we want is in Cali.

Then I went to print and, for the life of me, I can't get the settings right.

To only talk to ya'll when things are good, wouldn't be honest. The creative process isn't easy. It takes testing trial and error. As consumers we only see someone's finished project. We never see the countless fails, redesigns, and waisted product materials.

If your following me for the creative process, then I should show you the whole process. The good and the bad.

You can't really tell from the photos but the placement of the designs are off just enough. Some closer to the one edge than other.

For instance on this photo, if you look the circles are not exactly centered.

One product, perhaps a show floor one, is okay being slightly off but I want to mass print these. I need to know the customer got the very best product I could make.

I'll be meeting with a mentor tomorrow to get everything working.
