Hello Hen House!
Last post I talked about my daughters stickers! She will be with me this weekend!
Here are some more of her creations, except the bass and flower, those are mine :)
I'm so excited to have her with me all day. I hope this motivates her to make her own money. And I won't be lonely.
The sticker printing was the easy part. The machine cuts around the pattern where I tell it, but only deep enough to peal the sticker off. I still have to cut the patterns apart from each other.
Day before Easter I was cutting them apart with scissors all day. Cut some stickers, clean the house, cut some stickers, wash some dishes, cut some stickers, cook dinner.
I'm so glad I fit the work in because we visited with family the next day and everyone got to see what Kairi had made. Next time, Kairi can cut the stickers apart.
Now I'm back to work on my k-cup/matching game print...

If you recall, I was having trouble with my wooden laser prints. I got help from my mentor and I thought I was good. Nope!
I came in and started printing with the new fixes. A friend came by and said, "You see that? Your print sucks. Bring your DPI (dots per inch) up."
"I did" I said, "it's at 1000!"
Turns out I wasn't adjusting the DPI correctly. There are two places to change that setting. I was exporting a 98 DPI image at 1000 DPI, instead of just exporting 1000 DPI image in the first place. Confusing? Yes, it was for me too.
Mentor's fix compared to friends fix
Now it's Wednesday and I finally have a print I'm happy with. This is my life. It's been a year since I joined Lowell Makes and I'm just now hearing correct information.
Onto my checklist:
Products
Key Chains, Stickers, Matching Game (maybe k-cup a holder)
Flyer for Email Leads
Table Decorations
Table cloth, Greenery, Lights
Logo Sign
I had a sign, today I drilled holes to tie rope to a counter balance so my sign can hang over the front of my table.
Lunch, mustn't forget this
Don't forget to take pictures
DON'T FORGET TO SMILE - Your never fully dressed without one
In car news, we got a new car! A 2016 Honda Pilot. It doesn't have bells and whistles like a sun roof, but the storage is nicer and fits my laser engraving wood perfectly.

It took us 3 days to get it registered. Monday, the RMV was closed because of a state holiday. Tuesday we got there an hour after opening and by that time, they had stopped all walk-ins. Yes, they were that busy.
Today we finally got in by waiting outside in a huge line before it even opened. After the line was let in, they cut off walk-ins again.
The crazy part, there were 13 desk and only 3 had workers.
That's government for ya in Massachusetts! To make it worse, it was so busy because everyone is freaking out about the real IDs. ID's that they could have gotten years ago!

I took advantage of being down town and visited Sultra Studio. I saw where I'll have my table. I got to meet the owner and learn where I could unload my things. I also pre-paid for my table.
Next post will be after my Sultra Studio event. I hope to see you there, until next time!
