Back in the Shop: New Projects, New Events, and a Little Writing Detour

Hello Hen House readers!
It’s been a while since I posted, and I owe you an update.
I’ve been working on something wildly different than what you usually see here — I started writing a book.
Somewhere in the middle of that, I had a little lightbulb moment: AI can help with writing… and it can still be mine.
And if you know me, you know winter always gets me. Every year I hit that ‘winter woes’ stretch where I don’t want to make a thing.
But I’m back — and I came back swinging. I’ve been creating so much I didn’t even have time to write about it.
Projects I’ve been working on
Here’s what’s been happening in the shop:
A custom cutting board for a wedding in the family — Brandon and his new wife Savanna are the perfect couple, and he’s literally building their home from scratch.

A commission for custom keychains for Family Martial Arts of Pelham — complete with a stand so they can display them beautifully.

I even started putting together a real catalog of what I make, and I’ll be rolling it out soon.

Upcoming events
If you want to see what I’ve been making in person, here’s where I’ll be:
I’ll be hosting a table for Lowell Makes at the West Ave. Studios Block Party — we’re expecting to have free Lowell Makes tours, so come on down! West Ave. Studios
I’ll be at the Lowell Folk Festival again this year — I’m so excited! Lowell Folk Festival
